Funnily enough, the other day i was wondering how a gallardo would fare in the snow. Let us know if the 4wd helped at all!

4wd drive better than 2wd but I couldn't even make it off my drive without winter tyres. Big wide semi slick tyres crap in these conditions.

For the record it is yellow not orange and no I didn't make it past the end of the drive but at least it didn't end up in a hedge! The bottom (car not mine!) got a nice clean though judging by the state of the snow once I got it back in the garage. I was going to put the roof down but it wouldn't stop snowing! The comment about tyres is spot on. It has got 4 nearly new P Zeros on but not a lot of grip in nice powdery snow. Oh well it releaved the boredom as I could not make it up the hill even in the trusty Skoda.

I know your car is yellow - my second reply was to the pic of the Orange LP670 in the snow, which has obviously been deleted.....

the sl's ok in deep snow
it accelerates quickly enough and brakes just fine
it turns consistently if very slowly
the front air intakes do collect a lot of snow though !

Great video, i have not seen that one before smile
Hey guys if you want to drive your cars in the snow, and have the money to repair it once its spun into the wall other cars. Go for it.
I haven't got bottomless pockets so my toys stay in the garage.

On fifth gear sometime last year Tiff seemed to have an aboslute blast on a snow/ice track somewhere in Scandanavia. All down to correct tyres I guess.

Awesome and puts my "drive" out of the garage to shame!! If I could afford a SV I certainly would think twice about driving it around it those coditions! Does look good and I understand the "orange snow plough" comment now.

Here's another one...
Rami takes out all of his cars in winter... He uses the OEM wheels for winter tyres, and has other wheels for summer...
