Zeitgeist-The movie (Watch it Here!)
Discussion
One or two bits are a bit silly, but it certainly makes you think. Conspiracy theorists will love it and to be honest I think there's a lot of truth in it. I started watching it thinking I'd skip through it but I must admit it had me for 2 hours!

ive seen it at the zeitgeist site and tried to get people to watch it, i gave up - people dont like thinking.
Its a shame it doesnt start with the god/stars thing. The start will put people off watching it - which is a shame.
PLEASE WATCH IT _ fast forward to 13:40 minutes in though.

Good idea, the film really kicks off at 13:40. Its a shame it doesnt start with the god/stars thing. The start will put people off watching it - which is a shame.

Which bit did you particularly think was b
ks'.
ks?The bit saying Christ probably didn't exist? The bit saying that Governments enter wars without the blessing of the public? or maybe the bit that says that the leader of pakistan funded the 911 hijackers?
Thinking != watching a movie for a few hours then going "DAMMIT, YOU'RE RIGHT!"
Sources cited are dubious at best.

You needed a film to realise this? Edited by Frankeh on Thursday 7th January 14:22

PS. Where is the
'Books' area of PH? or is that too

No, I didnt, but many people arn't sure. Also I though Part I was very interesting. I didn't know how many Christ type figures there were in history and how long they've been around (3000bc) and that there were so many coincidental circumstances surrounding them. Sources cited are dubious at best.

You needed a film to realise this? That said I new what the ending to Pearl Harbour-The Movie was and I still watched that.

ks is in the details.
It wouldnt have been such a secret if all the information was readily available. We recently went to war with much less credible evidence.
And weve been through enough wars for the common man to be ignorant except to what hes taught in the controlled schools/media. No family history to pass on the tales, just war orphans.
So over at least 2000 years, concidering the power of the church and others, and their ability to have controlled/destroyed any information or artifacts about the history of our race - would be tempting if not simple.
Have a read
of Media Control by Chomsky, or What Uncle Sam really wants, its clear the methods have been used for thousands of years. Anything that provokes thought outside your conditioned little box has got to be a good thing yes?
