According to Sky, ITV are bringing back Crystal Maze. To add to the "oh dear", they seem to thikn the new host will be Amanda Holden... (Oh dear again)

The whole thing about CM was it's irreverence, I can't see ITV doing it justice. As the sets no longer exist, I can just imagine what ITV could build for their budget of 75p

Shocker, absolute shocker

They will piss on the grave of a great TV program

Where are the 2 other (previous) presenters?

Bomshell time... I preferred Ed Tudor Pole.

Anyway i hope they don't ruin it, Crystal Amze is part of our shared heritage.

After a massive house party earlier in the year the 10 or so of us who slept in the lounge decided to recover from our hangovers by continuing to lie on the floor watching Crystal Maze drinking cups of tea - happy times

No more remakes.

What do 'TV people' do all day in their search for new programmes? (I'm assuming just sitting about scratching arse and doing coke in the toilets).

If it's not dancing and/or singing +/- ice/ballrooms etc then they just remake the old (decent) stuff badly. frown

Worst for this are Sky and ITV, but I suppose they are geared for the 'harder of thinking' in the population...

They should never have aired another episode after Richard O'Brien left.

To have Amanda Holden host it, is the most ridiculous idea ever.

They are probably only bringing it back so that they can do a "Celebrity Crystal Maze" edition at some point.

In a jungle?

I expect the puzzles will be must simpler as well. Rearrange in order to release the crystal.
1 3 2.

Am I right in thinking the original was one of the first to be in surround sound? Still sounds good now tbh.

Caught it a couple of times on Challange TV - Why is there always an accountant called Andy?

They can remake Cyrstal Maze, just don't touch The Adventure Game
