Got to -12 here lastnight, sitting at -6 or thereabouts at the minute. Almost cold enough to put a jumper on!

Errrr, it really was -17oC in Oxon last night, that's from an official Met Office weather station...

It still didn't feel much colder this morning over yesterday. Snow was crunchy rather than soft though.

It still didn't feel much colder this morning over yesterday. Snow was crunchy rather than soft though.
Which is why I was out last night clearing the driveway before it got too cold biggrin

I was speaking to someone at an airport further north than me, yesterday. His temp gauge only goes to -40 and it had dropped off the scale yesterday.



They can do the 'throw a glass of water and it turns to ice before it hits the floor' trick.
