M3 (e46) iced up window

Anybody else found that in this weather the window doesnt drop when you open the door, then the door won't shut because the window can't pass the door seal?

Extra scraping across the bottom of the window by the rubber helps.

I never try to slam the door if the window hasn't dropped, and in this weather prefer to drop the window a few inches (once its thawed from having the heater on full and the door clicked shut) and then re-raise into position to "seal" myself in.

Just pour warm (not boiling) water over the seal where the window meets the door.

Works every time for me!
