place to run brushless boat in london.. yea right
Discussion
Hi there.
a friend of mine from abroad is comeing to visit for a few weeks over june/july and bringing his brushless boat with, He is from africa (poor sod) ha ha but he insists on showing me how awsome his boat is. Ive told him living in london we are not blessed for massive open spaces and large lakes. Im in the wandsworth area, does anyone know of a decent lake, big size pond, dont say the Thames, think his bit of kit costs around £400 pounds so dont want him bashing it into any ASDA trollys. id rather be prepared and go and see for myself before he brings it with him and its a total waste of our time.
cheers

Clapham Common has a large boating lake - "Long Pond" on the north side, near to Clapham Common Tube station.
