BMW Service Inclusive
Discussion
The service inclusive only covers the cost of the service/inspection.
Any 'faults' they find at the same time should not be addressed without your permission.
If they do change some bits without permission (e.g. by saying that they tried to get hold of you but couldn't) then refuse to pay and ask to speak to the service manager / dealer principal immediately, as some dealers are getting far too comfortable charging for things they've fitted without permission, or charging for work they haven't actually done.

- "Yes sir, the oil & coolant was drained and refilled as part of the service." - which then causes issues when you point out there's a coolant warning light on the dash and it take 9 litres of water to make it estinguish!
- "We had to replace all 4 tyres sir, as they were below the legal minimum, and we are not legally allowed to release the car in an unroadworthy condition." when all 4 tyres had 4mm-6mm left on them.
I had it on my E60 and E46 before that - never had anything extra to pay - great in that respect.
Not sure I got real value for it (I bought it as an extra when buying the car) though. Quite a portion of my miles are motorway based so the variable servicing system means I am not in as often as I might be wif i did lots of urban miles.
If they are throwing it in as part of the deal then take it - if you have a local indy you plan to use for servicing etc then negotiate the cost (to the dealer) of the service pack off the purchase price.
