Vostok Energia a question of taste &

Gents,

I was wondering what people thought of these watches. I've been looking at a few of the older ones but have now seen this:

& seem to be obsessing over it & curious of people's thoughts on it.

1)Gaudy/tacky or different? I realise it's a question of taste...

2)Fake or real?

I'm very tempted to buy it despite how much grief i am going to get indoors (3rd this month)

You'd have thought the Russians would have got the word 'vehicle' spelt correctly on the back of the case.

That alone would ruin it for me, it looks like a fake. Now I know the Russians make their own watches, but a fake of a Russian limited edition? No chance.

Look on Vostok Europe's website, they appear to be able to spell here That watch looks a little too rustic.
