Anyone know anything that will shift it? I've tried warm water on a towel so far which hasn't really done much, i don't want to ruin the suite, anyone know anything good but friendly. biggrin

How about brake and clutch cleaner - I always have a can under the kitchen sink, seems to work on most stuff around the house. Just do a test on the back of the sofa where no-one can see it to make sure it doesn't take colour from leather.

How about a Doktor Power Magic Eraser sponge (from JML). Nanotechnology in sponge format.
Worked a treat cleening grimy leather seats up in my car. Might rub away a bit of the colour of the sofa though so be careful.

They can be bought from poundsaver type shops for about £5.

Hi.. thanks for the replies.

I used the first option (only reply at the time) of hairspray and that's got it fully off, it's blue/black biro pen. It's from when i've written stuff on my hand for work, got home and crashed on the sofa with my hand as a make-shift pillow! Then it transfers onto the suite! took me ages to work out where these random numbers were appearing from on the arm!

I could see how the aftershave would work also due to the alcohol content!

Thanks again, really appreciated.

when i got biro on my parents brand new cream leather sofa i used leather cleaner/conditioner for leather car seats that found in the garage. it took hours of scrubbing, but you cant see it, and they never noticed. and it was in a prominant position, on top of the arm rest.
