Buy a new wheel and get on with life. It's short.

Sensible advice from Soovy.

If it was a pothole that caused it, which sounds likely given our st roads, BMW won't and shouldn't care too much. You could have reported it to your local council at the time if you have realised, but right now your only options are to buy a new wheel.

On the balance of probabilities you drove over a pothole and buckled the wheel. Doubtless you were yabbering on the phone or applying your makeup at the time, and didn't even notice.

Seems BMW might refund you the cost of a new wheel if there's no kerbing marks on it. Try the number in the link below.

If it needed BMW to tell you it was buckled, and you have never noticed, then just leave it on.

If it's not bad enough to feel then I can't see how it'll be bad enough to fail an MOT.

Thank you for the advice. However the tyre may not mould around the wheel and could cause it to bubble.wobble

A warranty doesn't cover damage - you could claim on oyur car insurance perhaps - but it is unreasonable for *any* warranty to cover a buckled wheel.
