What do you reckon is achievable for me
Discussion
This is a computer sim created by RichardD for my Chim based on a realistic guestimate of additional power from my nitrous system.
Considering i have ran 1/4 mile of 11.6 @ 125 and 0-60 in 3.6 at York last year it seems pretty close.
With a chassis and engine rebuild and modifications to allow more nitrous this year what sort of performance do you reckon i will be looking at for 2010?
As well as the drag racing i want to try v-max or similar and am wondering what a realistic top speed i may achieve considering the power from the nitrous and slightly longer gearing due to 26.1" dia rear tyres.

I'm kind of thinking putting that much effort and thought into might just take some of the fun away?! I mean that would you still enjoy the day if you didn't acheive your calculated results?! I was kind of thinking of adopting the attitude, turn up, plant it see what happens!
Thats fair enough.Ive got to admit it wasnt me that created the graphs etc.
A friend put my car and rolling road details in his computer program and came up with the predictions.
Ive matched the 1/4 mile times, now i want to see how the top speed compares.

Some people kind of enjoy the techy stuff and kind of get a kick out of being able to crunch the numbers and then see how well they crunched them on the strip - It kind of adds to the experience for those so predisposed
surely the top speed will depend on the: power output/gearing/length of the run/drag efficantcy/weather conditions.
i think its about 2miles isnt it?
I have roughly 500hp with a very low drag and got to 182mph without hitting the limiter.(911 turbo)
its very hit and miss on the day(hot day, cold day, headwind, tailwind ect ect)
good luck though

I'll have a fiver on 164mph.
I would be happy with that.
I wont be able to make it this time as my car wont be ready. Hopefully next time.
I will be at various drag strips throughout the year and will be running the 600m sprint on Blackpool promenade on 5th Sept for the TVR 'Big Northern Gathering'.
