Anyone know if there is a Dave F kit available for the E46 M3? I've seen some of the K+N versions but I'm worried about MAF damage due to the filter being oil coated. Other option is a Simota Carbon type intake. Also, can a BMC CDA kit be used as these will prevent any heat soak.

Thanks,

Matt

There isn`t and for good reason. BMW did a very good job as standard on the S54 induction and most kits will actually lose you power. Even the panel filters in standard airbox don`t work unless you`ve optimised by 100 cell cats and freer flowing manifold. Extra power isn`t easy to come by. Save up for a CSL airbox and AlphaN remap with aforementioned mods (about £3500+) and you`ll see about circa 30BHP ish but bear in mind most are pushing out under the BMW stated rating of 343, most are around the 330bhp mark. Better spending the money on a few visits to the ring and some driver training.
