Disassociating Xbox Wheel - help required please

Hi

I've lent my MS wheel to my neighbour as he's just bought a new xbox. Trouble is I think it's still associated to my xbox as it's come on randomly on it's own over the last few hours. (Now confirmed - it's getting a signal through the wall!)

Can anyone tell me how to disassociate it from mine at all? I couldn't find anything obvious from Google

Make sure your neighbour’s console and wheel are both switched off first. I’d also ensure the wheel is connected with power supply rather than battery.

- Switch on Xbox. Do not try to connect any other game pad / controller at this point.
- Then switch on M$ wheel.
- Press the connect button on Xbox. The Connect button is the small round button on the Xbox 360 console.
- Then press the connect button on the wheel. It’s the small round button located left of where you plug in the head-set.

That’s it, it should work. If it doesn’t, press the connect button on both Xbox and wheel again.

I’ve two Xboxes (both Elite) and have no problem linking the wheel to either, though sometimes you may have to press the connect buttons a couple of times. Shouldn't associate to your box once connected to his.

(at least in my case)
