Have seen these before, I think the sides would be covered in a production model the same as a conventional tyre. I think ride comfort and consistency would be the big issue for these. Wouldn't mind giving them a try just to see what they are like.

I wondered what the noise would be like. On the other hand there is no way I could hear it above my exhaust!
