Lights are behind the plate. The plate is backlit by the light coming though.

Depending on the year of your cerb, there's two ways.

The older cerb's have the plate flat to the body work with the lights behind the plate. You must the get a transparent plate made. If it's not this can fail u on an MOT

The other style is the plate is on at an angle, I think around 2001 onwards, and lights shine down onto the plate.

I'm on the mobile so unable to post pics.

You know where the rear 'Cerbera' badge goes? You will see 2 small holes, and a larger Hole in the Centre like this 'o O o'. The Red button fits in the centre hole. The 2 smaller holes are for the Cerbera badge. When the badge is fitted, you push the Badge which presses against, and activates, the Red button.

The Boot is just trimmed in Carpet that is simply glued to the bodywork - the sides of the boot, top and rear of the tank, rear inside of the boot, and the boot floor. An additional 3 seperate peices have bound edges, with Velcro stuck on them. 1 long bit is fixed to the top inside edge of the boot to cover all the electrical boxes on top of the tank. the other 2 bits cover the fuse box and a little cubby hole recess on the driver side of the boot.
I'm sure it's an easy DIY job really. Cheap black/Grey car carpet, sharp knife and a tin of glue. I'll happily send you some templates of the 3 seperate 'cover's so you can get them made up. Just let me know.

Mine also has separate covers with bound edges for the 2 rear light clusters. Theses are shaped to fit over the back of the lights where they project into the boot.

And mine has a seperate long bound cover (with velco) than runs above the fuel tank, covering the headlamp control box, central locking box etc and another bound cover on the RHS that covers a fuse and relay box.
