Source for Escort turn signal stalks

I would greatly appreciate a referral to a reliable source for these parts. I'll need them shipped to the USA and would prefer new parts.
Also greatly appreciate details on the parts that will be needed to make the switch to stalks from dash switches (part numbers if available).

I've not done this yet but we will probably need to for future builds.
I'm sure someone (Ditto) will be along shortly with the required model and part numbers.
Think it may be the Escort Mk 4 seen here on ebay UK but you do need the exact part number as there were a number of similar versions of the switch.
If you have issues getting it delivered across the pond then buy it and get it delivered to me & Paul. We will then get it posted on to you.

I think a couple different stalks are in use as depicted by the previous links, I have the small stubby version.

You will also need some multi plugs for the wiring
Some people who have fitted stalks have taken them apart then cut or soldered links inside to make them work on the Ultima loom, I altered my loom to suit the stalks, that way if I ever need to replace the stalks it’s a simple job

Steve D : I believe that you have stated that you and a partner are looking to do Ultima completion and service work , if I am wrong in that assumption then you know what assume spells. I would suggest that there is a small market for products like a complete turn signal set up with a adapter to the standard harness and a wiring diagram to match. I notice that no one has mentioned that in addition to the turn signal set its self you need a addapter plate to mount the piece. You have the advantage of doing this once, correctly and then clonning the pieces and diagrams for a kit set up. I will add that there are certain mods to these cars that all owners would proably like to do. The factory is not going to compete with you because of the leagalities of thier certification and biz model. For instance the short gas strut rods offered by the factory that do not open the rear hatch far enough for service. We have been told that its a requirment in England that the hatch only open far enough that the tail lights can still be seen from the rear. A set of struts maybe with a secondary mounting point that allows the hatch to go to verticle is certainly something I would consider. Right now I use a longer fixed rod which serves the purpose but struts would be better. Even the guys in England could put thier factory struts back on when they go for thier annual inspection. Well, you know what they say about free advice its worth what you pay for it. Lee

GTWayne and I were at the Autosport show held in the Birmingham N.E.C. earlier today and we had a good chat with Richard about several things but one subject in particular was hotly debated; Indicator stalks.... or to be precise, the distinct lack of them.
Richard was waxing lyrically about 'look at the toggles on that!'. We came back for a second look but she'd already gone!!
Wayne and I debated the toggles all the way home....!!

My rear clam hits the tires long before it gets to the full extension of the struts?Julian
as you know I have intensively examined the stalks and integrated them in my loom (was an ultima loom, but you would not recognize it now).
Making a standard setup with Ultima switches and loom might be a good idea, but I think considering the many choices of stalks could end in more discussions, if the stubby ones are the right ones or the ones that I used. It should also be known that the last piece of the steering column needs to be extended by 40 mm and also a kit to get the stalk assembly attached to the chassis. Next thing is kill mechanics for indicators, that I did not install yet, but It seems that it will not be long before I will also integrate those, as I am so used to it from other cars.
I think if the factory is not going for it the chances are small that someone is doing it.
