Titile gives a clue really! One of the coils has gone and other than main dealers I seem to be having trouble getting one. Anyone know where I can get one for reasonable money?

Thanks

Thanks for that but they dont have any.

Been floating about on ebay though and there seem to be a number there. Is there any reason not to buy a used one, assuming the seller has strong ratings?

Much appreciate any advice and suggestions. I am a technical idiot so rather proud of myself I have managed to diagnose the fault and can fix it. Yeah, I know, its pretty simple but anyone who knows me will agree that it is amazing that I even attempted it!

Just purchased one via ebay - £15! Really nice chap and very helpful. Due to arrve tomorrow so assuming it is OK I shall put his ebay ID on here as he has a load of parts available and judging by his feedback and two conversations with the chap, I am pretty comfortable that it should be fine.

Found a front wing I need as well in the right colour and good nick for £80 which I am off to look at tomorrow. I do love this interweb thing!

Thanks for your advice so far chaps.

Ignition coil turned up today so the car now has that installed and a full set of new plugs. Simple enough to do but not omething I hve ever done before so mildly chuffed with myself although to be fair, a mate had popped over earlier in the week and found why the car was running so bad and showed me exactly what to do which was very nice of him.

Anyway, car is now running as smoothly as a Jag should. Thanks for advice people.

Full service and wing replacement this week, also with the assistance of a mate but rather enjoying learning about this stuff. Wondering if I will be brave enough to attempt doing a little work on the TVR sometime! Probably not but nice to know I can do the basics on the Jag now.
