Easyjet

Does anyone on here know how easyjet handle their flight cancellations? There are eight of us supposed to be flying from Liverpool to Geneva tomorrow morning and easyjey are still cancelling flights. They cancelled one this morning and we are wondering if we should book another flight with a different airline. All other airlines are going in and out of both Liverpool and Geneva so I presume they are still trying to clear a backlog from the airport closure earlier in the week.
What I basically need to know is if they cancel our flight, would it be moved to one a few hours later or could we be talking days later? I know it's Easyjet I should be putting this question to but I can't get through to them without sitting on the phone all morning.

I think its a bit hit and miss dependant on what day it is but I dealt with a number of flights during the pre xmas snow. Easyjet cancelled their entire operation for the evening (1809 pax). The standard level of service they recieved was:

Go book via another airline, (many people rebooked with EZY only to be buggered again when that flight got cancelled). Easyjet reimbursed for the cost of the original Easyjet flight but nothing else.

That was from Gatwick. As a side note be a bit careful. When they cancel flights it takes them a while to update the website. Quite a number of people were able to rebook themselves onto their flight that had just been cancelled. We took those passengers outside and shot them.
