Tyre choice effect on front ride height

The standard tyre sizes on the Griff give a slight nose down attitude, the front tyre being about an inch smaller in diameter. When selecting different wheel and tyre combinations I have always been careful to maintain this half inch lower at the front. I know it is easy to adjust the ride height but moving the spring seats starts altering suspension angles. The rubber I am looking at now will end up with the front and rear diameter the same. Can any of you offer some sensible thoughts ?

It'll be horrible steve.

Put what you want on...but you must retain the chassis rake, other wise its understeer city.

16s alround is a std upgrade and adjust the ride height to compensate, as you say.

I rather thought that would be the case. I am on the annual hunt for a combination of rims that will fit the car and some decent hill climb compound slicks that will fit the rims. It really is a challenge finding a combination that is available will fit and will maintain the ride height. On the road I still run the standard 16/15 with the original sizes for the hills I have a set of 17s with American A6 rubber that that exactly matches the diameter but is slightly wider at the front. With the slicks on the balance is just as I want it but they are far too hard so I cant start or stop as well as I would like. The only viable combination I can find ends up with the front slightly higher. Know you are a fan of the triple eights (which are OK but nothing like as good as soft slicks) What rim sizes did you use when racing ?
