TD6 chipped or 4.4 LPG?
Discussion
Impending purchase of an L322.
15000 miles a year.
Will be a Vogue,
Finding my picky spec already coverted to Gas might be hard I would rather save the conversion cost and buy a newer/ lesser travelled 4.4.
The TD6 would only be £500 ish to chip and has the pre heater as standard?
Any feedback greatly received.

With that sort of mileage, your LPG conversion (usually around £2.5k) will pay for itself in a year if you have it done yourself. Do your research before buying a ready converted one - especially where it's been fitted. You'll probably have no issues but Prins and OMVL are the kits to look for. You would also need to see the conversion certificate.
Find the lowest mileage you can, make sure the front diff has been changed (LR will do it for nothing if it hasn't) and change the gearbox oil every Inspection II (not in the schedule). Otherwise, keep a few quid aside for occasional jobs. This applies as much to the TD6 as the V8.
I have no experience of a chipped TD6. However, I've driven a non-chipped one which is why I have owned a V8 for two years.
