Caching when composing a new classified ad

Been trying to put one of my cars into the classified ads today but the preview isn't showing changes I'm making as I'm tweaking the ad before it's finally submitted. Is it really necessary to cache ads that haven't been submitted for publication?
Also, is it really necessary to put *that* much compression on the images? Mine are showing loads of compression artifacts and make the car look like someone's been at it with a rubber mallet!

What is it that isn't changing? The text should change straight away although your browser might cache the images (CTRL + F5 should sort it).
The images are not compressed that much, what size are the images you are uploading? can you post a link to your advert so that I can take a look?
