Discovery TD5 warning lights

Posting this for my brother - he's got a 2000 V Disco TD5 and every so often all the warning lights come on on the dash - engine management, ABS, everything. The car doesn't stop or go into limp mode, it just seems like a glitch.

A long shot, but any Disco owners have/had the same problem and know if it's an easy fix? Thanks in advance!
