Well, after years of saying I'm going and then never getting round to it, I've just paid a deposit with Travel Destinations for their on-circuit enclosure near the Porsche Curves. Plan to travel down from Cambridge on Thurs morning, take the tunnel to Calais (I took the Cerb on a ferry once - had to climb out/in through the window as I had no room to get the door open!).
I know it's months off yet, but has anyone else booked yet?

Have booked for the Classic so far - gaggle of Cerberas in Karting Nord positioned for parade laps
.I usually do the 24 hour in June and will probably do it again this year - although haven't booked or formed a plan yet. Traditionally stay in Houx, but it could be anywhere at this point.
Would also take the tunnel, so will give you a shout if I decide to go and be great to hook up.

I'm going to the Classic again this year, I take it you're off to the main race (both brilliant, but different).
OFGS! And there was me thinking I'd be the only yellow Cerb at the Classic

We'll be going down in the Cerbera (if it is alive that week) from Cambridge on the Thursday morning and were going to be going via the tunnel......
Spooky
We should be in a convoy with a couple of other cars, be great to meet up somewhere on the way (say Cambridge
)

David, sounds good - I'll drop you an email when I get confirmation of the crossing times. I might have a friend with a 996 C4S Cabrio coming too although he hasn't committed 100% yet. On a side point have you driven your Cerb through Waterbeach on occasion? I have seen a nice blue one drive through a few times - same colour as mine with the pod lights and spiders.Spooky

Quite surprised that the Classic seems to be more popular, I always assumed the 24hours was the biggie. What's the appeal of the Classic then over the 24hrs?

What crossing are you on?
I've not been to the classic yet, was going to this year but the fact that it is not one long race has put me off. That said everything else is supposed to be better and there is a far smaller chav element.
The 24hrs is bigger and a wonderful thing to behold, just avoid the wa@kers

You been in Waterbeach for long, my wife used to teach there....
