Hi,

maybe discussed earlier but i can't find it in the archives
is it possible to replace the mk1 swiss cheese grill on my S, for a original mk2 grill

if so, does anybody have a guess what it cost's unsprayed and where to get it

thanks, Marten

No idea on cost, but try Fibreon. They have a good website too.

I'm fairly sure it can be done. Not sure of the cost, it might be worth speaking to Julian at Fibreon who makes them http://www.damagedtvrs.co.uk/
Another option is the T440 grille http://pistonheads.com/sales/1399860.htm

thanks guys, just looked at the fibreon website and it seems a mk2 style grill will fit a mk1

no prices though, will check out tomorrow, 10 inches of snow round here, so a good moment for some tlc biggrin

I was advised that a Mk II would fit - although it might be a bit of a fiddle.

However, I would recommend Fibreon - I ended up getting a Mk I replacement and it was a better quality bit of fibreglass than the bit of Blackpool bucket plastic that Bristol Avenue strapped on. thumbup
