Whilst sitting at the lights yesterday, I saw a security guard attack 3 teenagers.

The 3 lads left a supermarket, followed by the security guard who shouted something at them. The lads stopped, turned around and said something back, so the security guard returns to the shop, grabs an empty shopping basket and begins to batter all 3 with it. A few punches were thrown, but the lights changed to green so I drove off and didn’t see what happened next.

I have no idea what this was all about, or what the 3 youths had done, but surely as a security guard he should know better than to attack people in a busy street?

I’m in two minds as to what to do – Should I:
a) Forget about it, it’s nothing to do with me and was pretty funny to watch
b) Report it to the security company

Teach the three little scrotes a lesson I say. Leave it.

I'd report it to the police. Using any weapon, however comedic, is just wrong. He should know better.

Or you could blackmail him.

It was, very funny, but whatever they did, do they deserve to be attacked?

I say leave it. Little scrotes should learn there are consequences to their actions.

Meh , chances are, with ashopping trolley, they will have a few bruises, maybe a cut at worste. So what.

If it had been a frozen leg of Lamb, it would have been funnier, but a bit more dangerous.

I would say, its a pity he didn't fill the basket with cans of beans before giving them a battering. Extreme maybe but hey ho.

But he could have eaten the weapon, thus no forensic evidence.
Unless they can fingerprint poo.

That scenario was played out in an episode of "Tales Of The Unexpected". Wifey clobbers hubby with frozen joint of lamb, acts the innocent when police arrive, police do their bit whilst the joint is in the oven then the police are invited to dinner as it would be a shame to waste a good meal. Result for her. Haven't had lamb since!

Only if he hadn't been wearing suitable gloves, danger of frostbite. Otherwise safe enough, I'd say.

This reminds me of a story when I was 17 and working in my local Tescos. The security guard was an ex-military Northern Irish guy known affectionately as Paddy. Anyhow, we used to have a problem with local pikeys coming in and stealing spirits. One day they loaded up a trolley and filled their getaway car with their loot. Paddy was informed mid-raid, and sprinted across the car park to head them off as they traversed the one-way traffic system. What happened next will stay with me forever... He jumped onto the bonnet to stop them and then punched through the window to pull them out by the scruff of their necks.
