What is the "0/1" switch for on the steering wheel. For my 750 it turns the cruise on and off, but the CS doesn't have cruise, so what is it for?

I think it turns the DSC on and off - like on the CSL (I think it changes it to a special track mode on the CSL).

Yeah it activates M-Track mode.

Same as the button on the CSL

To be clear, it activates MDM (track mode). It doesn't switch off DSC, but changes it to a less intrusive mode.

M-track mode = one of my favourite things about my CS; normal DSC is waaay too intrusive IMO.

I've not yet really had chance to play with it...
Dam snow means my CS has spent the last couple of weeks sitting on the driveway..

No need, just use the DSC button to switch it off completely.
