All i get is sound, WMP 9.

Any ideas?

You need some codecs...

Divx.com should see you right...

It could also be down to your video card driver.

I had a similar problem recently, which ocurred after I updated my video driver. When I reverted to the previous versions AVI's played fine.

Or you could try downloading the Elecard player, just to cover all the bases.

Or look out for "GordianKnot" codec pack, which is an amalgamation of DivX 3, 5 and XVid... probably on www.doom9.org or somewhere near it...

It installs tonnes of spyware on your machine BUT provided you run AdAware 6 (or similar) straight after install, you'll have nothing to worry about.

no its the codecs are mising

avi can be many tings divx , xvid and so on just search for aq good codec site and install em



if you search for a prog called gspot it free it will tell you what codec any video file needs.
