Got to go in the morning. My usual route is A3 to Petersfield, cust across to the A32 to Alton, up through Herriard to Boringstoke. That doable currently tomorrow or should I suffer the M27/M3?

That's do able assuming you take the a272, not the backroads around the villages, my mum lives in Herriard and says the main road is fine but the lanes are fked.

Good luck smile

Main roads in Basingstoke are currently fine, Mark, but side roads are not.

Would you believe I'm in London tomorrow else I'd have offered a pint...

Saw that Steve, not sure I believe though, they have been forecasting it since Friday last week - suppose if they keep doing it they will get it right in the end hehe

Meant to say earlier chaps - thanks for the info. Will avoid motorways then. Very rude of me not to earlier.

wink Watch this space. Love the Noble, always fancied one, but the wife is insistent on a Cerbera.

A3 is fine, and the B3006 through Selborne is clear too. I can't comment about the roads from Alton onwards. BUT, as Steve says, snow is forecast from about midnight onwards. If it happens you'll be lucky to get much further than Petersfield, so if you really have to travel use the motorways (and leave plenty of time).

You were bang on. Police turning people back on the A272 at Petersfield so I tried the motorway, got stuck in queue on M27 at Hedge End, meeting was promptly cancelled.

Thanks for the input though guys. thumbup

Wise. We didn't get to London today as we saw the travel news before leaving and just gave up on it. So I'm in the office. Pretty much by myself! (I can walk, colleagues can't).

Bah. This weather is terrible....

I meant to say 339 here not 272, the 339 is now closed.
