The HSV Forum is having another standing mile event at Woodbridge Airfield in Ipswich on the 28th March.

Untill the end of jan the booking is closed to forum members with LS powered vehicles or invited guests.

However it would be nice to see some Nobles there so I am providing a link for those who would be interested in booking in Feb.

Would be great to see what the noble could do. I think the Ultima boys are itching to have a go to.

There are a couple of slightly modified wink Nobles that may supprise you. Would be nice if some of them went.

My little Noble does the 1/4 in about 11 seconds, a mile in about 25 seconds with a terminal speed of about 170mph. biggrin

This is the same venue and run by the same people as Fighting Torque so times and speeds should be similar to last years.

Not quite guyssmile

The event is being held by the HSV+Monaro Forum here on Pistonheads and Hosted by Javelin as they have the Manpower.

Its a much more relaxed day as the `competition ` side of the event is wound up at midday allowing `Free play` in the afternoon.

This will give you the chance to offer, and get, passenger rides in other cars as well as extend beyond the mile for a Vmax run.

There is also a meet the night before for a meal and stopover at a local hotel for those with a long way to come.

This is by no means a serious event so anyone who does try to turn up on a trailer, or a support vehicle full of spares (Not suggesting anyone from here btw) will well and truely have the p**s taken out of them hehe

Apologies. Jet lag.

Mind you the GTR would be much quicker over about 100. I'm genuinely interested to see.

Hmm..
