Without a service history on that sort of mileage, I would not touch it. The dealer seems to have listed everything on the car as if it were an extra! He may as well have said 'it has four wheels too'!
I have a 330Ci M-Sport and many of the items listed are standard. Do some research and you will see exactly what these cars come with.
There are plenty about with less mileage, FSH plus at £7k you could almost get a facelift model, which in my opinion look are a lot better looking.

Yeah you're right, but my thoughts are that if I can find the service history from BMW or other means then im interested should it have been well looked after.

I won't be paying 7K, im sure I can manage to get a few quid off the price, px has been valued approx 1700 + 4k will be my offer smile

At that age and milage with no history I wouldn't even pay what you've suggested. There are plenty about, with history and lower milage.

Agreed, though BMW should be able to give me an idea of it's history should it have been looked after?

Hi

You can walk into any main dealer with the registration number and the VIN and they'll be ableto tell you what the spec is and moreimportant when and where 'your' car has been serviced (and when it was last serviced at a main dealer!).

Might be interesting reading.

But I just can'twork why you'd take the risk when there are cars with service history and your spec out there which means there'sless risk for you and your wallet?

Good luck with whichever choice you make chap.

Looks nice in the pic!

I paid around that last month for my 02 330ci with half the miles and BMW history, so it's not even cheap, walk away.

Its HPI Clear, 4 previous owners (so 5 in total) Present owner (who part exed it) had it nearly 3 years.

Does seem pricey, and no history at all isnt good. Call BMW - they can tell you when it was seen by them, but I suspect this car may not have been into a dealer for a while.

A car with no SH has to be correctly priced in order to take that risk, as it may cost a few quid when you get it serviced - this one doesnt really offer value IMHO

Will be a pain to sell too, unless you can somehow retrieve the history. Having said that - if you like it that much get an RAC check done, this will tell you what is what. (edited) I see it says Inspected Vehicle - ask by whom and when, and can you see the report?

i expect they will tell you to ps off then if you are offering £5700, not that its worth more than that but they will feel they can get better money, i dont think they will even go as low as £6k unless it has been sitting there for a long time.

anyway for that money you can get one with history, lower miles and in a colour other than pink.

Tom, apparently the inspection is an RAC inspection, according to this on their website....

Peace of mind when buying a car is very important. At Belmont Autos we recognise this and have teamed up with the RAC to become an RAC Inspected Vehicle Provider.

Each vehicle inspection is carried out independently by the RAC against a 60 point RAC checklist.

An RAC Inspection is a comprehensive visual check of a used car's condition by a qualified and experienced RAC Engineer. Once the RAC engineer has examined the vehicle, he compiles a detailed report, which includes any faults he may have discovered.

By visually checking everything from the bodywork to the jacking points and physically checking everything from seatbelts to the clutch, he can identify any problems and even potential problems. He can even spot problems that have been repaired, but not necessarily to the standard they should have been.

Each inspection takes around an hour and includes an examination of the underside, via ramped inspection AND a road test inspection with a route designed to allow various speed and road conditions. This is what the RAC check so you don't have to:

Oh, and it's not pink! I think the colour looks great smile

I reckon I could get it for that price, saying it has no service history and high mileage etc (but by this point I have contacted BMW and they have informed me that it has a decent history) smile

I am looking elsewhere, just liked this one the most so far...

Can someone tell me where all these 330Ci Sports with low mileage, FSH and less than £7k are being advertised?

When I was looking for mine in Sept, there were very few under £7k on here, autotrader or Ebay.

If you offer £5700, the dealer will tell you where to go I reckon (especially as it's only £4k car plus another older car he's got to get rid of)

hehe indeed dooosuk, I was thinking this myself.

Being in Scotland too, I have much less choice of used cars than say someone in London, obviously I can travel if I spot the right car but as you can imagine it's harder

I'm based in NI, got mine from a local dealer, it was up for sale on a Wednesday, I'd completed the purchase by the Saturday, they're out there, you might have to be quick though. I didn't think £7k was really that cheap, was it?

Those are nice yes, however to even view them involves getting to down to England, eg Glasgow to Liverpool is a 500 mile round trip! So you can see my predicament :/

PS that one's not pink! wink

Surely a 330ci sport should be costing more than a 330ci?

I am just in the process of selling my 330ci msport and i would feel that the one above is overpriced, i would also agree that the sport is more to buy than the se and that a manual is more expensive than an auto.
