Am I the only one that is really fed up of repeated enquires and scandals about who said what when, when stuff was decided, when we told the US we had support.

Personally I'm utterly bored with this. No matter what happens Blair will get even more publicity for his lectures and books. We are still in Iraq - this makes no difference at all on the ground. Brown and his colleagues are out at the next election.

All this time and money for nothing.

There hasn't been an amazing amount of scandal just yet, mostly it's that newspaper type scandal where an MP forgot to hand back a biro.

Every day channel 4 leads on it... noone's going to get punished from it, noone's going to jail - what's the point?

Can't blame the media for doing their job for once, it's their responsibility to pursue our democratically elected representatives so we can see what they're up to this time. As opposed to reporting a whole fortnight of "It's still snowing. Snow is cold and makes travel difficult for some people" on most 24hr news channels. For 24 hrs.

It appears that they (Bliar & Campbell) have straight batted 4 previous inquiries of one sort or another, they must be fairly sure that any incriminating documents were shredded, or were deliberately never penned to paper.

Campbell approach today, "Every letter, word, I regret nothing" fronting up, is his style. tt. No wonder he can't see Malcolm Tucker is him...

The problem with inquiry is it asks questions, but doesn't challenge inconsistencies and cross examine. Scarlet (SIS) said he had not written the foreword to the dossier, which was presented by Bliar to Parliament (that means you and I), where he used the words like "without doubt" in relation to that Iraq having WMD, 45mins, we're doomed, which was untrue, there must of have been doubt, or at least some measure of qualification and not unequivocal. Who wrote the foreword, Campbell? Where is the "without doubt", not the intelligence, that is MISLEADING parliament, and the inquiry let him getaway with it.

And the inconsistency of Bliar recently interviewed where he thinks it would have been right to remove saddam, WMD or no, he'd have still gone ahead but with another pretext, well that would be illegal.

I hope Bliar is at least made to feel uncomfortable, and he is grilled over his contradiction, perhaps the presence of soldiers parents will make for some theatre, but as he has god on side I'm sure he will put on a good show, of bullst.

Well, given that the Netherlands has today declared the conflict as being illegal in terms of international law (the first country to have done so), the temperature may just have gone up a degree or two under those sponsoring the action...

exactly - it is more of a show to the public wink it will be as useless as the 'Hutton inquiry'

complete and utter waste of time.
