I hate really hot weather, don't think I could stand temperatures like that, high 20s is hot enough for me!

A mate who emigrated to Melbourne came back to the UK for a funeral this week. He left his place in +40 degree heat and this morning is practically snowed in in Windsor. Now that is climate change ...

I was out for dinner last night with a friend of mine who emigrates to Perth today, he sent his cat just before christmas and it's currently in quarantine, he got an email off the cattery sayin "your cat appears to be urinating and drinking alot is this normal?" The reply was "Well I guess it is for the poor thing, it left Glasgow in the minus silly temperatures and has gone straight into a heat wave with it's bloody winter coat."

Couldn't deal with it. Obviously cars from these places have epic a/c, much more effective than here.

When it's cold you can rug up. When it's hot you can't just keep taking layers off. It's still hot smile

The other night in Melbourne was hot yes, but having the aircon and a fan on helped no end. Worse for me though is I'm sporting the man flu from hell, so I'm either burning up or freezing. A cool change has come through now so a more pleasant mid 20's temperature is making my recovery much more bearable.

I'd rather be here than there, that's for sure. Much prefer to sling a coat + scarf on than have to sit around all day sweating like Anne Frank when the doorbell rang.
