RR Sport loan car
Discussion
Took my car in today for some paint work (colour coding) and was given a Range Rover Sport for a few days, while the sport is a good vehicle, indeed I loved it when I had one a few years back, god it's a million miles away from the Range Rover.

Still not getting it? The Sport is cr@p compared to a Rangie? Was it a new 2010MY? The Sport ain't meant to be a Rangie, so what's your point????
My point certainly wasn't to ruffle your feathers!Having never driven the 2 cars back to back I just hadn't realised how different they are to drive, the post was a thumbs up for the Range Rover and not a big thumbs down for the Sport, shame it came over that way, your reaction though reminds me of the Boxter / 911 attitude, certainly wasn't my intention.....
I see your point PHOENIXUK, usually then a car is called a sport model, you'd expect it to be very similar to the base model only a little bit more "sporty".. The fact is, the suspension is completely different. Yes they are both comfortable with air suspension but the sport is the same set up as the discovery3 which corners very different to the RR and therefore the whole feel of the car is totally different. Yes, the sport is nice, but the RR is something special!
