Camcorder advice please.

Would like to get hold of a decent camcorder but don't really know anything about them. Must have audio line-in (ie support and external microphone) and image stabilisation. Also, I'd prefer Mini-DV as it seems to cope with the car vibrations better.

Would be nice if it also had optical line-in to support a bullt cam.

Any suggestions?

For the bullet you need AV in/out. Quite a few Sony Mini DV camcorders have this.
