Anyone going to this new event in September? Le Mans is always a good deal but the TVRCC deal is a blinder - 3-day ticket, grandstand seat and TVR parking right in the centre of the action -all for £25 pp. Finding a close hotel should be a doodle in the middle of september and ferry probably slightly cheaper then. Les Garcons en Blue should be less active too.
It would be good to meet up with a P/H's contingent.

My father might be running his car there but he's afraid of the horrendous registering costs...

There will probably be a number of TVR's of all ages from Granturas to new Tuscans going to Classic Le Mans. A group of us usually go to Angouleme for the Circuit des Remparts(best motor racing in Europe) every year and this year will be no exception. The Remparts is the weekend before so we will spend a week in France and end up in Le Mans for the Classic event. I may even do the couple of laps in my "Granny" if it is on the full circuit.

If you are interested in going to the classic Le Mans, Air Track have a good deal which gives you three nights in a hotel ( to cold in a tent in Sept ). The cars are divided into five classes which run alternately through out the 24 hours. The TVR that ran in the classic last year will be there ( is entered ).

As we know, the TVRCC's website isn't much use at present - the last edition of 'Sprint' has all the details and how to apply for tickets. Otherwise 'phone Carol at the office.
