Probably an easy one.......
...but can I fit calipers from Cerbera or other more recent models to my wedge, without an adapter?

But if the calipers have the right dimensions (3D), it is not too difficult to make or have made a bracket. It is just a small piece of metal with a couple of holes. Hope it makes your day/evening ;-)

I'm sure I saw a 400SE at Track V road fitted with ally 4 pot TVR callipers, it belonged do one of the guys for Track V Road. It may be worth giving them a call before you write the idea off.

I for my have some 4-pot princess calipers that I intend to fit to my 350i FHC,

does anyone know how much work is needed and what discs to go for?

Thanks in advance

If you want something that just bolts on then I think you have 2 choices. AP Bells & Rotors as fitted by TVR on the original setup or fit the Granada vented disk. Personally I would say the first option is better but the disks are very hard to come by and expensive if you have them machined. With the Granada disk I think you may find some pad overhang. Be aware that different spacers are required for either option. The AP disk use 2 spacers in each caliper and the Granada disk has one specially machined spacer (think I've seen them availabel on ebay). Cheers Steve.

The vented disks come from the 2.8 Granada Estate. My 1977 V6 Cortina estate had vented disks. Perhaps they were considering using cortina front hubs but discovored that the disks were too small and that's why it's a mix of Cortina and Granada
