Very cheap crossings to Dunkerque
Discussion
yes it is cheap, but there's a reason:
the crossing takes a long time
its further to drive the other side
the ships are samller, with less to do other then sit and wait
dunkerque terminal is a strange throwback to the early 90s- check out the arcade machines
You can try, but you wont find the "beaches" from 1940

Meh. It's not that bad, we used them last year. It is verrrryyy cheap. Every little helps when you're driving a car that manages less than 20 mpg on the motorway!the crossing takes a long time

Offer code is EBS, if that's any help
Thanks Timbo I was wondering why EBF quoted above was not getting me a discount! £27 for the N24 is a bargain. If anyone needs cheap european cover £59 here and I can't see any age restrictions, if your car cannot be repaired they bring it home. http://www.quotelinedirect.co.uk/ This is a full UK breakdown cover for a year plus 90 days european cover.
Regarding the dunkirk crossing the boats seemed the same size as the Calais ones one of the advantages with Norfolkline is if like me you were extending your stay in france coming back later and decided because of last years days of torrential rain after Le Mans that you want to come back on an earlier boat ( days before your booking) it cost 7euros to change it done the same with P&O year before cost me 50 odd euros seems like an easier and cheaper company to deal with this will be my second year with them the extra drive is only half an hour extra i'm going to the 24hr & classic this year so every penny saved is a bonus when your tyravelling the distance that i do 750 miles each way
