Problem posting and missing posts

Ok, I am sure that this has been done before but I am having major issues with Firefox running on MacOS and posting replies. I click to post a reply, I am signed in through a cookie and I type my message. Press Submit and it all seems OK, complete with the updated page. Click to check my post and its not there!! Not sure what has gone on and no update to the thread!

Also a couple of times I have been booted out and forced to re-authenticate, but within minutes. Not sure what is going on. Any ideas?
