PistonHeads Le Mans Camping 2010

Join PH and 1st Tickets at our private Le Mans camping area

Building on the success of the 2009 PH Camping at Le Mans, PistonHeads is again working with Le Mans experts 1st Tickets - and this time we're offering a larger PH campsite. The site is 6000 square metres within the Bleu Nord campsite, which is a short stroll to the nearest circuit entrance and less than 15 minutes from the main grandstands.

As per last year the team at 1st-Tickets will ensure that all you need to do is drive yourself to the campsite and pitch your tent - you can leave the rest to them.

The PistonHeads site will have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and will be securely fenced off with access restricted to campers only. In addition to this, we'll be providing the following facilities.

  • Large marquee
  • Live race coverage
  • Cash bar
  • Guest speakers (Friday 11th June Subject to availability)
  • Showers and toilets
  • Water supply
  • Access to power supply

Price per person

Two per Car Three per Car Four per Car
Eurotunnel £299 £229 £192
Ferry (Dover – Calais) £270 £209 £177

The self-drive package includes channel crossing via Eurotunnel or ferry (Dover-Calais), up to five days camping in the private area, exclusive use of the facilities, general admission tickets and special delivery.

Prices based on standard five-day crossing and standard-size vehicle.  A small supplement is payable for larger vehicles or extended crossings. There is the option to add grandstand tickets and pit walk passes to your package.

Access to the site is from Wednesday 9th June and departure by mid-day Monday 14th June.

For booking details and further information please see here

Or visit the 1st- Ticket team in person on their stand at the PistonHeads Show this week.

1st- Tickets is an official agent for the ACO and a bonded tour operator.

Hi Snorkel sucker,

We can certainly look at a ticket only package for you on the PH site. We are currently at the PH show, but if you complete the online enquiry form, we will give you a call early next week.

For those of you wanting to organise your own crossings, or who have bikes...

I am travelling by train to Le Mans but have secured a pitch for me and my daughter plus T34 grandstand tickets for £300 per person through 1st tickets..

So no worries about even having a car on your pitch...

See you all in June

What about those travelling on their own? If I had a passenger we'd have to leave half our stuff at home!

Is it £299 just to go on Eurotunnel, or does that include the price of the camping aswell?

So how much is a camping pitch for one car? I don't need ferry tickets and normally buy my general entrance ticket on the day, who knows, the £ might have gone up against the euro by then rofl

As far a ferry is concerned I'm thinking of going the Portsmouth Cherbourg route wink
