Mate of mine has been given a "track day experience" as a gift with following venue options

- Rockingham
- Donnington
- Silverstone (not sure if it's full F1 track or not)

Anyone give a steer on these circuits, I've driven at Silverstone before but not full circuit

Thanks in advance

Donnington, provided they find someone to take it over and get it open again.

Rockingham is ok, not quite as flat and featureless as it looks but Donnington is awesome, very fast sweeping corners lots of gradient change.

Not driven Silverstone.

done silverstone and rockingham, if i had to choose between the 2 it would be rockingham.

silverstone is/was a power circuit and a little boring if i'm being honest.

cant comment on donington as i haven't been.

Done all three many times... Donington is FAB, Rockingham is good... Silverstone is just too wide and too fast for 'normal' cars/drivers.

(Having said that, I haven't done Dony since they've been messing around with a view to F1)

Haven't driven Rockingham but I'd still put it bottom of the list.

Donnington would be first choice, Silverstone is good but as said very wide and "big" for a road car, very hard to know if you're really on the right lines as its so wide!
