Or at least some of it:

It's deep into cold season and we're using loads of them. But how should we dispose of paper hankies?

What's the green way to dispose of tissues?

Jo Boxer said it best in the comments with "Chuck 'em in the bin and get on with your lives!"

Is this where eco-mentalism is going?

I hand wash mine in re-used rainwater from the roof, dry them in a fair-trade African thorn-tree hut, and fold them back into a recycled cornflake box.

This eco-rubbish isn't based on science, or even rational thought. It is somewhere between a new religion, the howlings of a lunatic, and the thoughts of the dribblingly thick. There is no end in sight, and seemingly nothing is too small to wring your hands over. You can almost smell the guilt.

Never (okay, i done it as a child) - what about the dreadful stains a runny nose leaves on clothing? Hardly a good look.

Burning paper, or anything that is made from a tree, is "carbon neutral" (not that I give a st). Any carbon dioxide that is emitted is equal to the amount the tree absorbed when it was alive.

Christ, after reading the comments and the amount of recommendations each one gets, why do so many people give a st about the disposal of tissues, or even buying them in the first place?
