I've just had my Chim serviced via a recommendation by the Hants TVRCC. Anyone in the Surrey/Hants area needing a service should talk to Andy at APM Automotive 01420-473931.

This guy is excellent. He really know's TVR's.

It's great to find a TVR mechanic who you can trust.

Try DJ Grove Restorations who is in your neck of the woods. Don't have his contact details but know he advertises in Revcounter (the AH club Magazine). Used him once a number of years ago for some 3000 MKII engine work when I lived down in Surrey - he specialises in AH's and was recommended by Hardy Engineering. Not sure what he's like for body or chasis work.

Also in your area are Rawles Engineering (www.austinhealeyspecialists.com/index.htm). I've never used them myself but have heard good things said by some other AH owners. Again they specialise in AH's.

Andy is great. I used him for some work on my Cerbera. He picked the car up and charged a really good rate for some first class work. He seems to know his onions.

Got my Griff serviced by Andy on Friday, what a difference, it feels like a new car

He even painted the disks and calipers so they look like new!
