Walked out to the car this morning and noticed a white streak on dads black alfa. Got a bit closer and it was two nice scratches down the rear, petrol cap. Since its my part time car as well it really piddled me off. Went out with the GF in her car and she said "you didn't check yours!" So got home to find they had done it to my rover in the same place!!!

fking people, why do you have todo that? Our cars are parked in a cul-de-sac so you have to go out of your way to go past our cars!

Either way thats my rant lol.

If anyone wants to make some money from us by offering to touch it up drop me a PM. Will post pics.

Sorry to hear that mate. There's alot of that going about. Some poor woman on my street had white gloss paint poured all over her car roof, which then etched itself into the windows and paintwork. bds!

Its annoying because we have cameras surrounding our house that last night weren't filming!!! Of course they will tonight so if it turns out to be who we think it is I think I might go have a "word".

Crikey, that means it has been written off as well then if I am not mistaken? So lucky it wasnt the RS6 or have you been done aswell?

No, mine is fine. Motion sensors, tracker, and proximity alarm linked to my mobile keep that one sorted. I am a very light sleeper and would wake instantly if anyone came close to attacking the RS.

Mobile linked? Is that an Audi feature or after market? If so how much does it cost?

Doesn't surprise me, disappointing, but not surprising. Several cars were done in the alley behind work, in broad daylight. Also the bloke next door had his Sat Nav stolen, he deduced that it was professionals when he found the brick on his passenger seat. Sadly it's all par for the course, wkers all the same.

  • Goes to remove bits from the car* Bloke who stole dads gear from his old pug cut his hand open doing it. Now he was a true professional!

Sucks when this happens. No-one benefits and lots of people lose, I just don't get it.

In a 9 month period last year I sustained the following damage:

Audi Q7 - 3 panels keyed
Audi S3 - 2 panels keyed
Renault Laguna Coupe - 1 panel keyed
Audi Q5 - 4 panels badly keyed

After this I stopped parking in my own road. Then:

VW Golf - 1 panel keyed broad daylight in the space of 45 mins parked away from the house
Renault Kangoo (it's not all glamour) - 7 panels keyed, parked two streets away!

To this day I don't know who or why. Nor do I know how people were linking the cars to me but it was IMO a targeted, personal attack as no other vehicles were ever reported damaged. These days I go so far as to peel off stickers or anything else that marks the vehicle as a manufacturer demonstrator. I also take my kids' car seats out in case they're identifiable - it's a total fking nightmare, esp in the cold or rain.

Weird thing is, my own car was never touched and that's the only one that would have really pissed me off it had got damaged, so in that respect I feel for you.

bds. Feel for you Damian. mad

Think at some point the scum of the earth have upset most drivers. Should the scum ever be able to afford a car they are proud of, god let their pride and joy be mindlessly vandalised.

Wont help you, or anyone else who has ever suffered but is a nice thought they may pay one day. Mind thats only if they earn enough to be able to afford to actually buy something in the first place.

sorry to go on
Chrissy

Its part of the tracker set up. Cost may have changed so best speaking to them.

My old Astra got keyed on every panel down the right hand side, as I had parked it outside someone's house. Never mind that it's completely unrestricted parking, and there were plenty of spaces all along the road. I chose the one closest to my mate's house, came back in the morning to find it keyed with a note saying "Don't park here again".

And yes, I reported it to the Police, who essentially filed it under "B" for bin.

Ok, here it is. Looks a little better because of the dew.

As I said mines not too bad compared to my dads Alfa. I added yellow marks to show where the scratches are that the camera didn't show.
