Where to drink and party in Queenstown NZ

Any ideas? I'm going in April, never been before. What do people think?

Its not that big as far as towns go! so just follow the croud! I went to a few bars when I was there and they all seemed pretty good really! Its just that kind of place!

As above you won't find it difficult to find somewhere to party in Queenstown. Stay at a hostel (if that is your thing) and there will be loads of info on whats going on etc. Its really not something that will need planning!

One place I definately remember was the ice bar! strangely tacky and classy at the same time and quite good fun! definately a good place to get talking to people!

When I worked in Dublin the lads swore by an Irish bar in town there!

I think he will probably mean Pog Mahones (that name always makes me laugh!). It serves a decent Guinness, and has been there for years! Anything which keeps going in such a transient holiday town has to be good.

World bar has a good atmosphere, and is open later than most places.

Also, Pizza's and Beer at either The Cow or Winnies (Winnebagoes)
