Hi all, I have a tag link automatic, It has stoped a few times in the last week. I am told that it would need a service, any one know what sort of cost for the service. The watch is around five years old.

Thanks.

Have a look here for a service price guide:

According to Tag Heuer, a full overhaul on an automatic Link would be between £185-205 depending on the model. However if additional components require replacement, the servicing cost may increase.

Here is some more information on what is included in a full overhaul:

Had my Omega SMP serviced a few months ago at the www.watchdoctors.co.uk and cost £80 and turned around within a week. Plus all work comes with 12mth warranty. The work was for a service, re-seal and pressure testing. Will be sending my SMP 2254.50.00 to them in a couple of months to get sorted as well.

Useful link thanks. My old Tag 2000 needs some TLC as it's keeping shocking time now, but didn't really want a £200 bill from LVMH!
