Dealer 12 month warrenties

A few of the well known TVR Dealers offer a 12 month warrenty on most of the their cars.
I know some limited the total cost that can be claimed and wondered if this was the same across the board?
Track v Road have a nice T350 and Tam in and seeing the warrenty in the last line got me intrigued.
Just curiosity really, could pick up the phone but thought I'd ask here first, may get feedback as to who's is good/bad worth it not worth it etc. etc...

Hi mate I brought a T350t from Track v road and had it throw a jack shaft Engine out job etc they were great, got the work done under the warranty. Warranty company battled with them all the way and i believe Track V road are now using a different company.
I will pm you when weather is better and we can meet up, Tam has only been out a few times lately.

I used a collegues email to sign up initially so did'nt get some pm's should be o.k now though.
I did'nt know dealers used an independent for warrenties. Are these the same companies/ deals you can sign up for yourself?
Did yours have a maximum cost limit? Do they cover everything except wear and tear/ Engine failure?
Would be great to have a look at the Tam, hopefully this weather won't hang on for too much longer.

Remember that for the first 3 months or so you are also covered by the sale of goods act as well.
As for warranties, I bought my 350 from Castle in Stansted, a month in it needed a bottom end rebuild due to a faulty big end bearing & a new rad. All sorted with no fuss by Castle, engine sent away to TVR power and part paid by them and part by the warranty company.
Not sure where you're based but I'd also be happy to show you around my 350 - I'm in Cambs but easily accesible to Herts, Beds & Bucks.

Yeah I'm Herts, do you guys ever have a large TVR meet? or even local ones? Obviously later in the year. I've been to all sorts of places but never remember seeing a huge group of TVRs.
Do you have any more info on the sales of goods act relating to second hand vehicles? If you've bought a 'lemon' you've got 3 months to either let the dealer fix it or refund you?

The Herts & Beds TVR guys get together every 3rd Sunday of the month (which is this weekend) at a pub called the Old Oak (I think it's the name).
It is approx a mile north of J10 of the A1 north bound carriage - 100 yards after the BP garage and take a sharp left. First guys get there from 11.30 or so and stay till 2ish. Pop in - we usually have 20 Tivs in winter.

How was Sunday, tried but could'nt make it over. You had a nice day for it anyway.
To sum up are the dealer warrenties a much of a muchness or is there one in particular who has a reputation for providing a more complete, reliable service?
As an aside is Chameleon green the same as chameleon blue, some images seem to make the two look very similar. I guess there the same as its a green/ blue flip?
