Bring on the Audi A1 !! Not because I want one but the competion might just get you main dealer boys to realise how bloody easy you have had it.The mini brand sells its self it certianly has nothing to do with customer service or the lack of it i've found from the 2 main dealers ive been trying to buy from since christmas.

laugh that you think Audi dealers are going to be any better.

I spoke to one dealer in north london , ref a cooper cab it was on his web site as due in jan, i called and told him it was the exact spec i was after and subject to rest drive i would buy it ,i even offered to put a deposit down they told me someone would call back straight after christmas ref finance they had given me a rough idea of trade for my cooper so i knew where i was(which was 1500 more than offerd against a new one in hampshire!) no haggling just happy to go in a pay the differance, cant get any easier that that surely.
firstly no one called me back,2ndly the mini isnt coming in guess what they didnt call me to let me know that either i had to email him yesterday. So personally I hope the build a whopping great Audi site right next door that'll make the fk er sweat.

I have come by some great dealers in the South Coast but as it has been said, there are some that are not as appreciative of the draw that the Mini brand has. Not to mention names, the supplying dealer gave me a hard time after delivery, they said it was all checked over PDI'd and some things had not. So move to next dealer in other part of town, slightly better, they listen and suggest remedies. Unfortunately they could not put the things right so I was very surprised when I was called over to the desk to hear the news.

The Service desk had called another dealer in the neighboring county 20 miles away and arranged to have the rectifications done at my convenience. I was impressed, thanked them and arranged with the current dealer, they are now the only people to take a tool kit anywhere near the car. Thanks Steve for all the troubles.
