Mondeo boot unlatching by itself problem

Hi,

The boot of my 02 hatchback Mondeo keeps unlatching itself almost every time I unlock and get into the car.

As I start the engine or start to move the car from cold, the boot unlatches. It has an unlatch button on the dash and on the key fob.

I put new batteries in the keyfob just to ensure that it wasn;t that.

It sounds like some water ingress into the loom or earthing problem.

Any suggestions gratefully received as to what to do.
