Hi there,

The Aspira F620 was not at the show today. They had got a stand which was unstaffed and empty apart from a sign on the wall saying the car will be arriving on Saturday.
Bit of a clanger missing press day if you ask me but hey ho.

Tim

Not that big a clanger - is there any point it being there on press day rather than public day, which is when I assume they will hope to attract potential customers?

Stands there are hardly cheap and it's going to get enough coverage I would've thought.

I know you are friendly with Craig - and maybe you know why it's not there - but I would have thought the stand would be paid up for the whole show, so the cost is perhaps not a strong argument... ?

Additionally, I would have thought that the best way to get the car into the media is by having it on show on the day when the media are attending...

I expect MrPink will be along in a minute to put me right......

from the inside picture it seems that fatter guys like me are not the target customer, they probably have Jay kay on their list.
However you must say that it is not easy to pull all of this of, so I congratulate them.
Creating a car like this, all the knobs and instruments is eating up quite some money not to mention the body and and and, so I think hats off !
Not a car for me though, I love my naked canam, I am past this fancy interiors for me other things count and ultima delivered.
If I look at the recent break out of "supercars" from smaller companies I can only say most of them have not done their homework. I would say out of
50 maybe 1 company will pull it off and that still will be a very costly adventure for the guys that are financing.
Probably I am wrong if every arab or russian oligarch will buy one from all that are available, but let us face it for the average potential customer the most
important part about a supercar is that everybody knows it and even more important knows the price tag !
Not the case with most of the cars that I have been aware of in the last years. Still remember the SSC currently holding the world record in maximum speed, do not
know of any customer that bought one !
A similar destiny is sharing Gumpert with its apollo, production numbers are very small and remember it is leading the Top gear board !
my 2 cents

Fair play to Craig and his business partner for having the balls to do this, £140k is certainly ambitous of them with the new 458 and Mclaren at around that price.

Personally, although the interior is a huge leap in terms of kit car quality, MrPink likened it more to a Zonda - and I'm sorry but it's very short of the that in my eyes. It looks like a Zonda has been used for inspiration that's for sure.

Good effort and good luck though, will be interesting to see how it compares to potential rivals.

Question for all of you lads....

The GTR has a very flat and not so interesting dash unit, lots of people have made comments on the fact that it could be allot better more curved and more features etc....

But is it better to have a nice simple main dash top that you can alter yourself and kind of put your own stamp on, or would you want a more stiled Dash in the first place.

Maybe leave enough room that you have some flexibility in putting different things on the dash ??

Any thoughts ??

Depends on whether this is a turn key car.

I saw this yesterday, must say I didn't pay it too much attention though, it's ok but not something I would go for. I did spend some time on the Ultima stand though!

lets see 140,000 British pounds or $228,000 I can have a 458, a new McClaren or a one year old GT3 and an Ultima. Gee, that wasn't to hard. Lee

Excluding mirrors...from the front that is a very nice and quite modern-looking motor!

If someone were asking 45-50k sterling for a reasonably complete kit for this I'd certainly have a real close look. Sounds like Im a few quid adrift though?
