big explosion just now in swindon

any news on what it might be? Just heard two big bangs, louder and deeper than fireworks go off. Maybe a big crash dont know but two large thuds, house shook a little and out the back can hear numerous alarms of various types going off.

Whats the crack?

you heard it too then? I wanted to go and follow the alarms but have to set off to lincoln first thing. Sounds like its down near the great western/ferndale area as thats where the alarm noises seemed to come from. Hope it wasnt a derailment

Our stretched porsche cayenne has gone into DL in swindon for some work to be done they were not over impressed that someone had stretched one and painted it PINK perhaps it was them killing my car

right i would say it was a train running over fog signals or dets as there called on the railway

yes and the driver will be in the st cos you not supposed to run over them
and yes they do go off with a BANG !!!
